The new STEG Damping are water-repellent and guarantee a good protection against corrosion, preventing the contact between the water and the oxygen of the air with the frame. The addition of mineral fillers in the composition of the material ensures safety for human health and the environment.

Polyester acoustic damping with a variety of types of uses, inside a box or behind the speakers (not suitable for wet areas).
It is particularly useful in combination with midrange speakers. It is also possible to use to decouple and isolate parts.
Resistant to water and hardly flammable (but able to absorb water).
